Had the opportunity to goto a NZHondas.com Monthly Meet last night and took some photos. It’s good to see the quality of the cars vastly improving since the last time I visited one of these meets (many years ago).

New Beater: DC2 VTiR

It is factory equipped with a B18C2 and Y80 gearbox and will be replacing the EG Civic.
Came fitted already with Jackson Racing Suspension and some 17″ Advanti Nitro Wheels (removed) however in true Phil fashion, it didn’t stay stock for long. I have already fitted the below
- EM Racing C Pillar Bar
- Rear Strut Brace
- Mugen Gearknob
- Alloy Intake Pipe w/Pod Filter
- LED Park Lights
- LED Numberplate Lights
- Red Indicating Rear Tail Lights
- Clear Side Markers
- 8000k HB3 HID Set

Also have on order from overseas some LED highbeam bulbs and interior lights.

JZX100: Boost Up Dyno

Took the Chaser into ST Hitec yesterday to get dynoed after performing a few of the last stage 1 mods and it was interesting to see the gains from Intercooler, Downpipe and a boost increase.

The car gained around 15kw however the biggest gain was a huge amount of torque, over 40% increase at peak and full boost is met at 3000rpm which is a kick in back of the head compared to before the tune.

As the factory ECU is dumping huge amounts of fuel the overall power figure is still relatively tame however with a bit less fuel up top the car should net around the 230kw mark *fingers crossed*

Time to get a PowerFC !

Got around to fitting my Spoon Mirrors and Mugen Lip. Looks alot better than the DIY lip and OEM mirrors.

JZX100: Sinco Custom’s Turbo Outlet

Got around to getting the aftermarket turbo outlet pipe fitted up to the chaser. The pipe is a very good fit and makes a huge difference to how the car drive. Boost picks up faster and sharper and carrys the power all the way to the redline. A MUST have any JZX or 1JZ owners who want a little more power out of their setups.

Major differences between the stock one and Sinco version:
- Less restriction going into the first bend
- Larger and smoother internal cavity
- 3″ into the front pipe

EG Civic: Lighting

Got around to replacing the shitty old clouded up plastic headlights on the Civic and fitted some clearer and better glass equivalents from a NZ New Civic. The best thing about doing this conversion is that visability at night is far better and the Glass housings use H4 instead of the shithouse H4H bulbs so at the same time I fitted some 8000K High/Low HID’s.

Also, fitted some clear side markers. Thanks VT Production
